KUCHING: The Sarawak Welfare and Education Organisation for Underprivileged Students (PEKEPPEMS) presented raya aid to 95 pupils of SK Jalan Haji Baki.
Batu Kitang State Assemblyman, Dato Ir Lo Khere Chiang, Dato Lo stated that Aidilfitri is not only a celebration of victory after a month of fasting but also a time to strengthen relationships and share blessings with those less fortunate.
“The Raya Aid contribution given today is more than just a token of appreciation; it serves as encouragement and motivation for our students to strive for excellence in their studies,” he added.
He expressed hope that the students receiving this assistance would use it wisely and take it as an inspiration to continue excelling in their education. Knowledge is the key to a brighter future and meaningful success for the next generation.
Lo expressed his deepest appreciation and gratitude to SK Jalan Haji Baki’s headmaster, Cikgu Mohd Alif, and the chairman of the Sarawak Welfare and Education Organisation for Underprivileged Students (PEKEPPEMS), Pengiran Haji Samsudine Pengiran Haji Tambi, for the invitation to this meaningful event.
He also extended his respect to Penghulu Hajah Sabtuyah Yusuf, KK Harzmi Abdul Rani, KK Baslie Sulaiman, KK Rosli Ahmad Darus, as well as the teachers, parents, and pupils presented.
