Elderly woman found dead in Taman Malihah after neighbour notices foul smell

KUCHING: A elderly woman aged 71 was found dead and in a decomposed state in a residential unit at Jalan Belatok RPR Taman Malihah, here. 

The Padawan District Police Chief Superintendent Mohd Irwan Hafiz Md Radzi, confirmed the incident, saying that the case has been classified as sudden death (SDR).

He said police received a report from a member of the public at  8.12 AM regarding the foul smell. 

He added that further investigations are ongoing to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
