KUCHING: State Assemblyman for Batu Kitang, Dato Ir Lo Khere Chiang showed the successful completion of drainage system upgrades in Kampung Bukit Pancur, Bau, ahead of schedule.
He said initially set for completion by May 15 this year, the project was completed earlier.

Undertaken by JNC General Contractor under the Rural Transformation Project (RTP) State Assemblyman Batu Kitang initiative, the project aimed to enhance basic infrastructure for the community’s safety and well-being.
The work included site clearance, removal of old drainage structures, and the construction of a reinforced concrete drainage system and culverts.
The 150-meter drainage upgrade cost RM199,980.
Lo expressed his appreciation to the Majlis Daerah Bau and the contractor for their commitment to completing the project ahead of time.
