KUCHING: Batu Kitang State assemblyman, Dato Ir Lo Khere Chiang, said the refurbishment of the Taman Mewah Basketball Court was made possible through the Sarawak Government’s Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) fund, reflected its commitment to community development.
“The Sarawak Government under the leadership of Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg has always prioritised the people’s welfare and the improvement of community facilities.
With the RTP fund, we are able to enhance infrastructure and create a better environment for residents. This upgraded basketball court will not only provide a safe and quality space for sports and recreation, but also serve as a platform to strengthen unity and foster closer ties among the community,” he said.
