KUCHING: Kuching District Police Chief ACP Alexson Naga Chabu has urged the public not to speculate on the incident at Kuching International Airport (KIA), where a man fell from the third level this afternoon.

“I advise members of the public not to speculate on this matter in order to respect the sensitivity of the victim’s family,” Alexson said in a statement.

The 47-year-old foreign national, who is married to a Malaysian citizen, was seriously injured and taken by ambulance to Sarawak General Hospital. He is currently receiving treatment in the Red Zone.

Police confirmed they are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the fall. The public with information is urged to contact Insp.
