KUCHING: Sarawak Commercial Licensing Board (LPKP) Chairman Michael Kong introduced the new Bas.MyKuching Q01 route, which links Saujana and Taman Malihah.
“This route is designed to improve accessibility for residents and daily commuters, especially along some of Kuching’s busiest corridors.
“Our aim is to make public transport a practical and appealing choice. That’s why we’ve scheduled buses every 30 minutes during peak hours on weekdays,” he added.
Kong added that they will also continue monitoring feedback and ridership closely, and make adjustments where needed to better serve the public.
He noted that the initiative is part of the government’s wider effort to enhance urban mobility.
“With strong support from the Federal Government, we are working towards a public transport system that contributes to a better quality of life for all.”
