KUCHING: The Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) 2025 project for the upgrading of Borneo Garden Recreational Park has been successfully completed, marking another milestone in efforts to enhance community facilities in Kota Sentosa.
State Assemblyman Kota Sentosa, Wilfred Yap witnessed the final inspection and completion of the project, which was implemented by Syarikat Pembinaan Hafiz at a cost of RM50,000.
The project was supervised by officers from the Kuching South City Council (MBKS).
Yap said the upgrading of the recreational park is part of his ongoing commitment to improve public amenities and promote a better quality of life for residents in Kota Sentosa.
“Recreational parks are important spaces that encourage families, children, and senior citizens to spend time outdoors, exercise, and connect with one another. A well-maintained park contributes to a healthier and happier community,” he said.
“As the elected representative, I will continue to work closely with MBKS to identify areas that can be upgraded for the benefit of residents. A good living environment is the foundation for a good quality of life,” he added.
Yap encouraged residents to take pride in the upgraded facilities and maintain the park’s cleanliness for everyone’s enjoyment.
