KUCHING: A 57-year-old motorcyclist was killed on the spot in a road accident along Jalan Mambong/Seratau at about 9.10 pm last night.
Padawan Police Chief, Supt Mohd Irwan Hafiz Md Radzi said the fatal accident involved the victim’s motorcycle and a four-wheel drive vehicle driven by a 34-year-old man, who escaped unhurt.
“The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for causing death by reckless or dangerous driving,” he said.
Irwan urged road users to drive with caution and not to speed on the road.
