PETRA JAYA: Pustaka Negeri Sarawak menyediakan empat taman permainan kanak-kanak yang menarik dan selamat kepada pengunjung.
Empat taman permainan tersebut dinamakan sebagai ‘The Adventurer’, ‘Tree House’, ‘The Wanderer’ dan ‘The Explorer’ direka untuk menyediakan ruang permainan yang selamat dan menarik serta boleh diakses untuk kanak-kanak.
“Ciri taman permainan baharu memastikan keterangkuman dan keselamatan dalam penggunaan kayu, tikar getah dengan rumput tiruan serta memastikan kebolehcapaian untuk kanak-kanak berkeperluan khas.
“Setiap tapak taman permainan terletak secara strategik di sekitar kawasan tasik pustaka, memastikan pengalaman yang pelbagai dan menyeronokkan untuk semua pengembara muda.
“Pustaka komited untuk menyediakan persekitaran permainan yang berkualiti tinggi, inklusif dan mampan yang memenuhi keperluan semua kanak-kanak,” katanya dalam satu kenyataan, hari ini.
Dalam pada itu, taman permainan ini telah dilancarkan oleh Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri (ADUN) Batu Kitang Dato Ir. Lo Khere Chiang dan ahli Taman Pustaka dan Penasihat Jawatankuasa, Dr Rita Manurung.
Pada Oktober 2022, Pustaka telah melantik Perbadanan Kemajuan Industri Kayu Sarawak (STIDC) sebagai pelaksana projek untuk taman permainan tersebut.
