KUCHING: An elderly man who was sitting waiting for his food escaped with some injuries after a car rammed into a coffee shop, overturning his table, throwing him to the ground before hitting a parked motorcycle at this morning at about 9 plus.
The car driver who appeared more shaken than injured, was assisted out of his car by the coffee shop operators.

Another customer, who was seated at the far end of the shop, said he saw the elderly man preparing to leave when the vehicle suddenly surged forward, crashing into the tables and chairs.
He added that the driver did not seem physically hurt but was visibly shocked by the incident.
Coffee shop operators rushed to assist the two elderly men.
