
KUCHING: Since Monday, eight men have been arrested in connection with a fatal fight outside an entertainment centre in Bintulu which happened on Sunday morning.
Bintulu district police chief Supt Nixon Joshua Ali said the 28-year-old victim was found covered in blood around 1am and later pronounced dead at Bintulu Hospital.
He told Utusan Sarawak that police are getting to the bottom of the case and will rope in all connected with the killing. He added that, acting on received information, the arrested eight male suspects comprising both locals and foreigners in their 40s are from Miri.
Nixon said m that investigations are ongoing, with efforts underway to locate others involved.
The fighting incident was captured on several CCTV recordings that have since gone viral, showing two groups engaging in an argument before the assault occurred.
