KUCHING: A 38-year-old local woman was killed in a road accident at KM52 along the Kuching-Serian Road this morning.
Serian District Police Chief, Superintendent Freddy Bian confirmed that the incident occurred at around 9.20 am.
“Initial investigation found that the motorcycle ridden by the victim lost control and crashed into the roadside barrier,” he said.
Supt Freddy added that the victim was pronounced dead at the scene and her remains sent to the hospital morgue for a post mortem.
Freddy advised all road users to maintain the rules and regulations while on the road.
