KUCHING: Kota Sentosa assemblyman Wilfred Yap Yau Sin, together with Kuching South City Council (MBKS) officers, has inspected three completed Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) projects to ensure they were carried out according to specifications.
The projects involved upgrading the Taman BDC Stampin recreational park (RM200,000), Phoning Garden neighbourhood park at Lorong Seladah 1 (RM50,000), and Green Height recreational park (RM50,000).
Yap said every allocation under RTP belonged to the people, stressing the importance of transparency, accountability and quality in delivering projects that improve residents’ quality of life.
He added that the upgraded parks would provide safer, more family-friendly spaces for recreation and community activities.
