SELESA.... Salah seorang pelanggan mendaftar bagi menggunakan perkhidmatan ruang letak kenderaan valet
KUCHING: Orang ramai yang berurusan di Hospital Umum Sarawak (HUS) tidak lagi perlu risau mencari tempat meletak kenderaan, asalkan mereka sanggup membayar RM15 sekali masuk melalui parkir valet.
Pembaharuan itu adalah melalui kerjasama HUS dan pihak pihak Meditel bagi melaksanakan inisiatif perkhidmatan parkir valet.
Pengurus Operasi Meditel, Muhamad Farid Roslan berkata perkhidmatan itu disediakan bagi memudahkan orang awam terutamanya golongan Orang Kelainan Upaya (OKU) yang mempunyai urusan di HUS.
”Perkhidmatan baharu ini merupakan satu nilai tambah yang disediakan oleh HUS kepada orang awam terutamanya golongan OKU untuk memudahkan urusan harian di hospital.
”Setibanya mereka di kawasan Meditel, kenderaan boleh terus ditinggalkan di kawasan ruang letak kereta valet dan mereka boleh terus membuat urusan di hospital tanpa perlu memikirkan di mana meletakkan kereta,” katanya.
Beliau berkata demikian ketika ditemui pemberita selepas majlis pelancaran Parkir Valet di HUS di sini, hari ini.
Menjelas lanjut, katanya, semua urusan meletak kereta akan diuruskan sepenuhnya oleh operator parkir valet dan kenderaan pelanggan akan diserahkan semula di hadapan petugas valet hingga urusan mereka di hospital selesai.
Katanya, perkhidmatan itu juga menyediakan kerusi roda secara percuma kepada para pelanggan.
”Kadar bayaran adalah kekal iaitu RM15 sekali masuk misalnya jika pelanggan datang untuk janji temu pada sebelah pagi dan mengambil kenderaan setelah urusan selesai pada waktu petang, kami tidak mengenakan sebarang caj tambahan.
”Waktu operasi parkir vaket bermula dari 7 pagi hingga 8 malam dan sekiranya ada pelanggan yang masih meletakkan kenderaan melebihi waktu tersebut, pihak operator akan menunggu sehingga mereka membawa kenderaan keluar,” jelasnya.
Beliau berkata parkir valet itu sudah mula beroperasi pada 1 September lalu dan kawasan parkir valet dipenuhi kawalan Kamera Litar Tertutup (CCTV) dan operator yang bertugas bagi menjaga keselamatan.
