KUCHING: Sarawak Police Commissioner Dato Mohamad Zainal Abdullah witnessed the handover of duties for the Head of the Sarawak Internal Security and Public Order Department (KDNKA) at the Senior Officers’ Mess, Sarawak Police Contingent Headquarters in Kuching yesterday afternoon.
During the ceremony, Zainal officiated the presentation of the Senior Assistant Commissioner (SAC) insignia to Ku Mashariman Ku Mahmood.
The event also included the signing of the handover of duties and the formal transfer of documents from SAC Nor Omar Sappi to his successor SAC Ku Mashariman Ku Mahmood.
Zainal said the ceremony marks an important transition in leadership and reflects our commitment to maintaining high standards of service and security within Sarawak.
Omar will take on his new role as Sabah Brigade Commander of the General Operations Force.
Also present were Deputy Commissioner DCP Saifullizan Ishak, department and formation heads, district police chiefs, senior officers, lower-ranking officers, and civil servants from the Sarawak KDNKA Department.
