Joint operation targets entertainment outlets in Padungan

POLICE checking the public in a night entertaining outlet

KUCHING: District Police Chief ACP Alexson Naga Chabu confirmed that one entertainment outlet was inspected during an ‘Operation Bersepadu’ and was issued a compound for breaching its licence conditions.

He said a total of 18 individuals, comprising both men and women, were also checked.

The operation carried out by Criminal Investigation Division was done in collaboration with the Kuching South City Council (MBKS), conducted an integrated operation on Monday night.

“The police will continue to carry out regular monitoring and enforcement actions to ensure that entertainment outlet operators comply with the rules set by the authorities,” he said.

Alexson added that the operation aims to maintain public safety and well-being through continuous enforcement efforts.
