
KUCHING: A father and son who were attacked by five masked men at their premises in Siburan last Saturday morning sustained serious injuries but are now in stable condition.
When contacted by Utusan Sarawak, Padawan police chief Supt Mohd Irwan Hafiz Md Radzi said both victims remain warded at Sarawak General Hospital (SGH).

He added that the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) is currently investigating the case, although no arrests have been made so far. He did not want to elaborate on the movie of the attack.
Mohd Irwan earlier confirmed that the victims suffered injuries to their arms and legs during the attack, which was captured on the workshop’s CCTV.
Several CCTV clips showed the suspects arriving in two cars at 9.39am. They were dressed in black, masked, and armed with blunt objects.
The case is being investigated under Section 326 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing grievous hurt with dangerous weapons. If an offender is convicted, he can face jail for 20 years, fine and whipping.
