KUCHING: Two individuals, a man aged 23 from Kampung Sebat Baru, Sematan and a woman aged 27 from Kampung Tanjong, Saratok died instantly in a motorcycle accident today at around 9.30 a.m. along the Pan Borneo Highway, en route from Lundu to Bau.
The incident occurred near Kampung Stenggang when the motorcycle, believed to have lost control, collided with a road divider and overturned. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
When contact, Bau police chief, Supt Mohd Haide Bin A Rahaman has yet to respond.
Utusan Sarawak was made to understand the remains were brought to the hospital morgue for a post-mortem.
