KUCHING: A 77-year-old woman suffered minor injuries on her hand after her car overturned in an accident at around 1.00 p.m. today at Jalan Setia Raja in front of Tabuan Jaya police barrack.
According to a road user, the elderly driver collided into the rear of a Mitsubishi Pajero before losing control and crashing into the road divider.
The impact caused her vehicle to overturn.
Passersby quickly came to her aid, helping her out of the overturned car.
She was later seated in a Good Samaritan’s vehicle while waiting for an ambulance.
The accident caused a traffic jam in the area.
Police arrived at the scene to investigate the cause of the accident.
