KUCHING: A 27-year-old local man from Kampung Skiat Baru, Bau, has tested positive for drugs during a police urine screening.
Bau district police chief Supt Mohd Haide A Rahaman said the screening was conducted by the Bau Narcotics Criminal Investigation Division (BSJND) at about 6.45 pm on October 9.
“The preliminary urine test on the suspect returned positive for drug use. He is being investigated under Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952,” he said.
He urged public feedback to report if they know of any drug abuse. Haide said by working together, they can tackle drug issues in Bau easier.
