KUCHING: Sarawak Commercial Vehicle Licensing Board (LPKP) Chairman Michael Kong Feng Nian announced that the Bas.My Kuching concession fare has been reduced from RM50 to RM30 for a 30-day period, allowing commuters to enjoy unlimited rides for only RM1 per day.
He said the initiative reflects LPKP Sarawak’s continued commitment to making public transportation more affordable, accessible, and convenient for residents within the Greater Kuching area.
“Members of the public who have yet to register for the concession pass are encouraged to visit the Bas.My Kuching office to sign up and enjoy the benefits of this reduced fare,” he said.
Michael added that LPKP Sarawak will continue working closely with the Ministry of Transport and other relevant stakeholders to further enhance the quality and efficiency of the state’s public transportation system.
