KUCHING: Stampin MP Chong Chieng Jen said he is ‘as good as new’ after undergoing an angiogram procedure at the Sarawak Heart Centre on Monday.
The procedure was carried out to clear a blocked artery, and Chong resumed work the very next day.
“Two days later, I even went to court as I had a case scheduled,” he said when met today.
Chong, who usually jogs between three to five kilometres daily, was advised by doctors to refrain from exercising for at least two weeks.
Emphasising the importance of health checks, Chong urged those aged 45 and above to undergo annual medical examinations.
