KUCHING: A contribution of RM111,500 has been handed over to SJK (C) Chung Hua No. 2 to help the school purchase new tables and chairs, providing students and teachers with a more comfortable and conducive learning environment.
Michael Kong, Special Assistant to Chong Chieng Jen, said over the years, the headmistress has worked closely with the team to implement numerous improvements, including the full digitalisation of classrooms to enhance teaching and learning. Her dedication and cooperation have been key in transforming the school to meet the demands of modern education.
The contribution comes at a meaningful time as the headmistress prepares to retire on 21 November 2025 after years of dedicated service. Michael Kong extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to her, describing the support as a meaningful token of appreciation for her outstanding leadership and lasting legacy.
“The contribution not only benefits the students for years to come but also reflects our gratitude for her exemplary service to the school,” he said.
