KUCHING: Two local men were arrested after testing positive for drugs during an operation conducted by the Bau District Police Narcotics Criminal Investigation Division (BSJND) on Monday evening.
Bau District Police Chief, Superintendent Mohd Haide A Rahaman, said the arrests took place between 6.00 pm and 7.00 pm.
The suspects, both unemployed, are from Taman Mutiara Jambusan and Kampung Opar, Bau.
“Initial urine screening tests conducted on both suspects returned positive for drugs. They are currently being investigated under Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952,” he said.
