MIRI: Piasau State Assemblyman Datuk Sebastian Ting handed over a cheque for RM500,000 to Gurmokh Singh at the Miri Sikh temple.
Ting said the cheque was from Unit for Other Religions (UNIFOR), which he received on June 17.
He urged the temple committee to put the funds to good use, and added that if the amount is insufficient for the upgrading works, they may apply for the grant again.
